Laboratory Experiment

Mrs. McNeal's 1st hour STEM class has been studying about bacteria and recently completed a lab experiment to summarize their learning. Students streaked a petri dish with bacteria and then placed antibiotic disks in the bacteria to determine which antibiotic works best against the bacteria.  The antibiotic disk with the greatest "Zone of Inhibition" (largest circle around it) is the best antibiotic to be administered to their patient. From the pictures, it looks like they are hard at work!
