Sixth grade students are beginning their unit on Biztown activities in the Explore classes. Students will be learning real-world lessons about checkbooks, earning money and paying bills, along with applying for jobs and holding elections for town mayor. All of this is in preparation for their visits to Biztown in Tulsa. Ms. Munroe's classes will be going to Biztown on February 28th and Ms. Stout's classes will be going on February 29th.
Information and permission slips will be coming home on Friday January 12th. Permission slips are due February 1st for students to attend. Parent Volunteer forms are also due February 1st. Parent volunteers will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis, with a maximum of 20 volunteers for each day.
