February 28 and March 1 Wilson 6th Grade students were able to visit JA Biztown! This trip was the culmination of several weeks studying financial and life skills in their Explore classes with Mrs. Burd and Mrs. Munroe. The students learned about applying for jobs, getting a paycheck, paying bills, and citizen responsibilities and many other things before going on the field trip. When students arrived at Biztown, they heard an inspiring speech by the elected mayor and then went to work in their respective jobs for the day. The students had so much fun and I think you can see what a successful day it was in the following pictures!
