The Santa Shop is as busy as Black Friday! The students have been excited to bring their lists and money to purchase gifts for Christmas! This year's selection has offered a significant variety of perfect gifts for everyone on your list. Speakers, headphones, gadgets, winter wear...The list goes on and on. We even have Santa helpers (incredible parent volunteers) to wrap each gift. The last day is Thursday, December 12th. (Thank you PTO for organizing this event!)
Santa Shop will be open at the Cue, December 9-12th. There are many great items! If you would like your child to visit the Santa Shop, please complete the "wish list," (being sent home today) and return with money next week. If you would like to volunteer, the link can be found on the Collinsville Upper Elementary PTO FB page.

Picture retakes are Thursday, November 7th. If you would like your child to have retakes, please return their original picture packet to school by Thursday. If they are taking them for the first time, you can get an order form from the front office.
Friendly Reminder: We go outside when the temperature is 40 and above. Please ensure your child brings a coat each day while being dressed appropriately for the weather.

Join us for the Grand Event at the Book Fair this Friday, October 25th from 7:00 - 8:30am. Parents...Grandparents...Aunts...Uncles...join your student for donuts, milk, juice, and coffee while browsing books. Thanks for your overwhelming support with McTeacher's Night! We raised a record breaking amount...$8,939.19! Pat Gable, representative for McDonald's, presented the check to Assistant Principal, Diertra Harris.
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be October 10th and 14th from 4-7 p.m. Students will be out of school for Fall Break, October 16-18.

CHS Student Council is hosting a FREE haircut event for all Collinsville students...Wednesday, Sept. 18th in our CHS gym from 4:00-8:00pm.
Thank you First Baptist Church for your generous donations to our CUE art program! Your kindness has given Mrs. Mendez the ability to buy new art supplies for our students. The arts play a huge part in creativity, risk taking, decision making, problem solving, and many other skills, and we are incredibly grateful for your contribution to their education this year!

The CUE students are loving the newest addition to the playground. Thanks to the Masonic Lodge #165 in Collinsville for the donation to our PTO last school year. We wanted to share this picture of Mrs. Trost’s 4th grade class enjoying the new playground structure.
